Custom Quilting Services

Whipped cream and a cherry on top please!!  This is the option for a show worthy quilt and worth every penny of your investment.  When specific attention to detail, design motifs, prominent (or not so prominent) shapes is the goal, custom quilting will not disappoint.  We can highlight each of these areas with echoed stitchwork, fill, and even thread painting. 
 
Custom quilting is charged at a rate of $.05 per square inch.  You may also choose Combination--edge to edge quilting in the center with custom borders.  This is charged at $.03/square inch.
 
Once your order is placed, you will receive an emailed form requesting the specs of your quilt.  Please be sure to check your spam or junk folder if you're not signed up for our email through the website!  You may also find the form and pricing on the Services page of our website.  Simply click on the Adobe Acrobat Document.  You may complete the form ahead of time and email it to us at cynthia@modernlongarmrva.com 
Once the information is gathered we will price out the job and deduct your $100 minimum payment made today.  
 
Now, we're ready for your quilt!!  You may ship your quilt top, batting and backing to us, or schedule a pickup/drop off if you're local to the Richmond, VA area.  If you are purchasing batting and backing from us, please do so with your online order.  If you are unsure of the yardage needed, we can do it for you later on with your completed form--EASY, PEASY!!!!
 
We offer a prompt 2-4 week turnaround, but may expedite if necessary.
