About the event
Participants will learn to gather, organize and begin sewing with fabric scraps to complete a quilt top. Â Specifically, the class will focus on making the blocks for Augusta's, "Snaps and Stars," quilt. Â The pattern for this quilt is available for purchase either before or on the day of class for $10. Â For those who may not wish to bring scraps, the pattern is also jelly roll friendly along with two solids (1 for the stars, and another for the background). Â Augusta will share a variety of tips for cutting and selecting fabrics to complete the project. Â When gathering materials for this class remember, "variety is the spice of life," and the possibilities are endless!! Â
This class is for the confident beginner to intermediate. Â
Some sewing experience and sewing machine required for class.
